Just started playing Chef & Friends? Here are the most important things you need to know.
Kitchen
Know your upgrades well: device upgrades allow you to cook more or cook faster while food upgrades increase prices for your food. Choose your upgrades well to meet a level's requirements.
Upgrade your kitchen as soon as you can to increase your chances of winning.
Levels
Use boosters: if your kitchen is not upgraded enough or if you find the level too difficult to pass, boosters are the way to go. There are four main boosters: Instant Cooking - cooks dishes instantly, Non-Stick Coating - dishes don't burn, Server - serves dishes automatically, Doubler - doubles coins.
Check your level requirements: all levels are different, so depending on the goal, change your play style. For example, in levels with a "don't burn" condition, be more careful of your cooking and serving speed.
Don't forget in-level aids: if you find yourself in a difficult situation, aids can help you win the level. Use candies to restore patience and Wonder Dish to serve customers any dish for ten seconds.
Story
Hats: Only some sub-levels give you hats, but it doesn't mean that you should only play them. Other levels are a good way to get coins and upgrade your kitchen.
Interior upgrades: Upgrade your interior at your own pace, but don't forget about it! You will get prizes for reaching upgrade stages that will help you with your progress in levels.
Daily
Daily rewards: Don't forget to claim your free daily rewards every day! They are located in the Rubies Bank window.
Daily quests: Finishing daily quests will give you awesome rewards! And if you don't like some quest, you can always change it for 2 rubies.
Profile
Stats: Stats are calculated in-game and are there to show off your progress to other players.
Decor: You can choose your own avatar, frame, background and banner to show your unique style. If you want to get more options, you can get them in secret boxes, season passes or get more by participating in the events in the game and in our community.
Events
Events are there to help you and add fun to the game! We recommend you always participate in events since you can win awesome rewards and if you lose, well, you don't actually lose anything!
Coins and Rubies
Coins: You need coins to upgrade your kitchen but be careful, coins always change when you change your region. So, don't save up too many coins; they cannot transfer to the next restaurant.
Rubies: You can also use rubies to upgrade your kitchen, but you also need them to continue a level after losing, to get boosters, and for other things. If you want to get rubies, events are the best way to get them.
Friends and Guilds:
Friends: You can get additional rewards from friends; you can get help from them and receive a reward for sending help.
Guilds: They are amazing for adding more fun to your game. Team up with your guildmates to get to the top in unique guild events. It's also a great way to get some rewards, either by requesting help or by participating in events.
